Rising Strong with Colour Infusion

Writer: Annaschaumkel.com Annaschaumkel.com

Colour is absorbed with our eyes, our skin, emotions and our spirit. How you choose to incorporate colour into your life can greatly enhance your wellbeing, focus, confidence and inner divine strength.

A challenging aspect for women redefining their feminine qualities is moving into colour. Colour is a statement of being seen and this can be a push-pull conversation for women whose past has derailed their self-confidence and sense of worth.

One of the conversations that is explored in *Goddess is: as a woman, what needs to be protected most?

Mostly all women will reply - my feminine side .

Regardless with how frustrating it can be at times, it seems easier to stay in the shadows of life than risk being ridiculed or misunderstood or hurt as a woman in her feminine.

But playing it safe doesn't give women what they truly desire in life and that is to be a presence in their own way. There is as much an unlearning of old patterns as there is of relearning to raise self-worth and BE SEEN and HEARD.

Infusing colour can be remarkably healing.

Colour Infusion

Colour is all around us. None showcases colour better than mother-nature. Mostly everyone feels energised after being with nature.

The seven spectrum colours are red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. Each of the spectrum colours is simply light of varying wavelengths, has its own vibration and energy. These energies resonate with the energy of each of the seven energy centres of the body.

There are many alternative health modalities that work with energy and colour to restore balance on an emotional, physical, mental and spiritual level. Therefore we are aware of the importance of understanding the healing power that colour can have on a personal level.

Here's how to add Colour

Willingness to try something new.

Practicing willingness is encouraging the feminine spirit. You are willing to 'give it a go' and see what unfolds. This is being playful and open to explore with a willing heart and flexible mindset.

nb: Willingness is No 1 of: The five principles the feminine way.

Take it slow

Remember you ar stepping out of the shadows so take it slow. Non-invasive ways of adding colour in your life can be: placing coloured pens on your workdesk. Most coloured pen sets are styled around the seven main colours mentioned earlier. Pay attention to which coloured pens you like to use more than others.

I have a box of coloured glittered pens for my clients to use. At times, they are very specific with which ones they choose, even if the why is happening on a subconscious level.

You could add a colourful wristband or 'chakra bead wristband to blend the colours close to your skin. This gives your eyes the infusion of colour and touch and feel.

Another opportunity to play with colour would be to add a flush of colour to your clothing such as a scarf or a patterned shirt.

Journal your insights

Journaling your insights is another opportunity to let yourself be seen and heard. As we say in the Conversations for Women programs, first you put your observations on paper, then you can expand into the world.

Lastly, remember you don't have to do it all at once. Just by practicing something new and trusting you are worthy of being seen in your best light is enough. It is how the feminine likes to do it.
